 HOUSE AMENITIES 174 Bradford Street is a handsome, tastefully decorated 2 story 1,300+ square foot house with a dining room, working fireplace, living room, kitchen and full bath on the first floor. The upstairs contains 3 queen-bedded rooms and a full bath. The large front deck overlooks Bradford Street and wraps around to side steps to a patio and garden area. A small side deck off the kitchen provides space for a hot and cold outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach, and a small patio contains a gas barbeque grill. Thoughtfully maintained and retaining many of the fine details of its 19th century origins, 174 Bradford Street has all of the modern amenities expected in a quality rental, including high-speed wireless internet connection throughout the house. LIVING AREAS The Living Room and Dining Room have their original King George wide-plank pine floors with a working fireplace and six large windows for both abundant light and the summer breeze. The dining room table can accommodate up to ten people and the living room has a flat screen cable television with a dvd/vcr and a stereo system. Local and continental United States phone service is provided, along with wireless high-speed internet connection with access to a printer, copier and fax. The new Kitchen has all of the modern and convenient appliances to make your visit comfortable: washer/dryer; microwave oven, gas oven and stove; dishwasher; toaster, coffee maker, blender and all of the high quality pots, pans and dinnerware that a chef desires. An outdoor gas grill is available adjacent to the kitchen deck, and the side garden patio and front porch lend space for seating and outdoor dining. An iron & ironing board and hair dryer are provided for your convenience. Numerous board games, puzzles, beach supplies and a lending library are here for your enjoyment during your stay. SLEEPING AREAS The three bedrooms each have a queen bed, window air-conditioner, ceiling fan, desk and chair, rocking chair and ample towels, sheets, beach towels, bathrobes and comforters are provided. Each bedroom room is equipped with a cable Flat Panel TV with dvd/vcr, telephone extension, clock radio and CD player with alarm, doors with locks and a power strip for your electronic equipment. The Blue Room overlooks Bradford Street and has harbor views (spectacular in winter, and a backdrop to the trees in summer). The Green Room is a very comfortable and quiet room with a view of the rear gardens, and the Gold Room is a cozy and quiet room also with a view of the rear gardens. There are two full baths, one upstairs with a tub and shower and another with a stall shower on the first floor. OUTSIDE
AREAS The newly extended front deck overlooking the stunning front garden, side garden patio and kitchen deck of 174 Bradford Street are for your own personal and private use. Our perennial gardens flower most of the year with water provided by a private well on the property. The driveway has parking for two cars and is accessed via Priscilla Alden Road and provides a secure area to lock your bicycles. An outdoor hot and cold shower is located on the kitchen deck, next to a shed containing beach chairs, childrens beach toys and additional outdoor items available for your use. The large working garden located behind the house, is accessible to you and your guests by a pathway along the side of the house. You are invited to experience its beauty, enjoy the tree swing or simply commune with the abundant avian and butterfly populations. The entire property with its secret rear garden is a unique quiet refuge due to the size of the lot and its close proximity to all the excitement of Commercial Street and downtown Provincetown.
